What happens next

• The request is logged the moment you send it, with a 30-day deadline attached.
• We reply to the email you gave. If the deadline has to be extended, which the GDPR allows for complex requests, you are told within the first month and given the reason.
• For erasure or access concerning a named person we will ask you to confirm identity first, because handing someone else's file to the wrong person is the worse failure.
• Objecting to a legitimate-interest assessment stops that processing unless we can demonstrate compelling grounds. If we rely on that, we tell you what they are.
